I began my teaching career in the fall of 1980 at Waltonville, Illinois teaching Agriculture, Math and Technology Education classes in grades 7-12 for seven years. My administrative career began in 1987 where I assumed the High School Principal position at Atkinson High School. The following year I moved to Wisconsin and accepted the High School Principal position at Royall High School from 1988 to1992.

In 1992 I accepted the High School Principal position at Richland High School until 1995 when I accepted the Jr./Sr. High Principal position at North Crawford. In the fall of 2003, I assumed the position of High School Principal and District Administrator.

Administrative Secretary

I’ve been with the North Crawford School District since 2003. I originally started out in the High School Office before taking over as the Administrative Secretary in the District Office. I thoroughly enjoy working at the school. The students, staff and administration are wonderful to work with. It’s a nice environment where you can take pride in the job you do each and every day.

I am originally from Ohio, but moved to Wisconsin when I was a little girl and have loved it ever since. The landscape here is beautiful and I enjoy the many changes we get to experience with the different seasons. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and we are blessed with three absolutely amazing children.

Ms. Donna Bell
District Bookkeeper

I am the bookkeeper for the North Crawford School District. I have been working as the bookkeeper for the past twenty-two years beginning in 1986. Prior to this I worked as the Administrative Secretary for North Crawford for three years from 1974 to 1977. In 1977 I decided to be a stay-at-home mom and raised my family and helped on our dairy farm until 1986 when I returned to work at North Crawford.

After graduating from Cuba City High School and Southwest Technical College, I married Dennis Bell and I moved to Gays Mills, which was his hometown. We have three grown children and three grandsons. Our daughter Dana and her husband Tom live in Westby with their three sons, our son Dan lives in Peoria, Illinois, and our son David and his wife Laura live in New Holstein, Wisconsin. Our three children graduated from North Crawford where they received an excellent education and helped them to prepare for their college education and careers.

My husband and I continue to farm outside of Gays Mills where we are currently raising crops and cattle. We have been dairy farmers for over thirty years and have recently stopped having our own dairy operation.

It has been my pleasure to work with many wonderful staff, administration and board members during my years at North Crawford. I look forward to the years that are to follow, as I am sure they will be as exciting as the years that have passed.
