I am starting my 15th year at North Crawfod, the 14th year of working in the special education department, working with students with emotional/behavioral disabilities. I orginally worked at North Crawford in 1983-85 school years as a substitute teacher and coach.
I am beginning my 15th season as the head girls basketball coach at North Crawford. My teams have compiled an overall record of 191-112. The 191 victories is second in school history in wins behind Coach Gary Hines. I have also served as the Athletic Director for the past 5 years.
I graduated from Viroqua High School in 1976, then attended UW-C Richland for two years and went to Valley City State University in Valley City, North Dakota on a basketball scholarship. I graduated from Valley City State University in 1981 with a degree in Physical Education/Health and a Drivers Education minor. I was a starting guard for the Vikings basketball team and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992.
I live in rural Viroqua and have two sons AJ (20) and Ben (18). AJ is Junior at UW-Platteville majoring in Mathematics and Ben is attending Iowa State, majoring in Horticulture.
