Scot Schellhorn

Scot Schellhorn LD/ Special Needs Instructor

I have been teaching for 16 years at North Crawfrod in the Learning Disabilities/Special Needs area. Prior to coming to North Crawford I worked as a long term sub in several areas throughout the midwest and as an adjunct instructor at the Northern University Lab School in Cedar Falls, IA. My position here at North Crawford has also included 14 years of football coaching experience in the high school and junior high levels. I graduated from Hudson High School in Iowa in 1984. I then attended the University of Northen Iowa where I recieved my BA in Social Studies Education. After several stints as a long term substitute, I worked for a year in graduate studies within the University of Northern Iowa's graduate program. In 1993 I accepted a position at North Crawford and subsequently worked through the University of Wisconsin - Platteville to achieve my licensure with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in Learning Disabilities Education. I am currently working with UW Platteville to achieve my licensure in Cross-Categorical Special Education.  I live in rural Gays Mills with my wife, Julie, and four children; Anna, Hank, Maggie, and Katie.
