Scholarships are one of the best ways to pay for college.  There are many scholarships available no matter what your intended school or major.  You can browse the guidance website; especially the helpful links portion and scholarship portion; for more information.

The local scholarships will be available on this website, as well as by disk starting Monday November 23rd and the deadline for returning the completed materials is Friday January 8th.

You will never receive any money if you don't apply. Applying for scholarships is like having a part time job! Expect to put in several hours, but the rewards can be amazing!

Ask for your letters of recommendations AT LEAST two weeks in advance. Do not assume that the people you are asking have nothing more to do with their time!
