The North Crawford School District Career and Technical Education (CTE) team and financial office was awarded a Milwaukee tool set in recognition of being one of the first school districts in Southwest Wisconsin to submit their Carl Perkins Claims and follow-up report by CESA 3.
School Counselor Stephanie Colsch and District Bookkeeper Angie Boland worked through the process with CTE team members to claim federal funding under the Strengthening CTE for the 21st Century Act (referred to as Carl Perkins V). This funding is used exclusively to improve Career and Technical Education programs of study to ensure students are graduating as career and life ready as possible. Please reach out and congratulate this team on this achievement. Great job!

The North Crawford School District is continuing to accept applications for a route bus driver, to begin in the 2024-25 school year. Sub and trip driving would be available immediately. The district pays for all training and certifications to be a bus driver. We are also still accepting applications for a night custodian. This is a full-time position with great pay and benefits. We would be willing to discuss part-time opportunities if that worked for individuals that can't commit to full-time. If you have any questions regarding any of these positions, please contact the District Office at (608) 735-4318. Great things are happening at North Crawford!! #TrojanPride

📚📝 Important Announcement: State Required Testing 📝📚
As we gear up for another significant milestone in our academic calendar, I wanted to inform you about the upcoming state-required testing for our students at all age levels.
Starting this week, our students will be embarking on these assessments, with a particular focus on Tuesday for our students in grades 6-12. Here's a breakdown of what to expect:
Tuesday: Students in grades 6-12 will be taking the state-required exams. Grades 9-12 will complete all of their exams on Tuesday as required by the state. For our students in grades 6-8, please note that they have a larger number of tests to complete, which will extend over the next two weeks.
We understand the importance of these assessments in gauging our students' progress and ensuring they meet the necessary standards. However, we also recognize the significance of maintaining a balanced approach to testing.
To this end, we strive to limit testing time to no more than 90 minutes per day in grades allowed by the state. We believe in the importance of supporting our students' well-being and ensuring they have the opportunity to perform at their best.
As parents and guardians, your encouragement and support play a crucial role in helping our students navigate these assessments with confidence. Please join us in motivating your child(ren) to do their best and reminding them that their hard work and dedication are truly valued.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to ensure the success and well-being of all our students.
