It was an exciting day in the AG room as we flipped on the switch to the greenhouse! Lots of dirty hands left today after planting our test run of hanging baskets in the greenhouse before our much bigger delivery in a short couple weeks!

Earlier this week, our entire K-12 staff and students came together for an amazing RISE family activity! It was a fantastic experience filled with laughter, creativity, and a whole lot of fun. We've captured some unforgettable moments in photos, and we can't wait to share them with you! For today’s activity, you will be working together to complete a STEM challenge as we think about what it means to be resilient. Resilience is the ability to cope when things go wrong. Having resilience means you don’t give up when things get hard, work through problems as they come up, see the positives in tough situations, adapt and go with the flow, have a “growth mindset” and know that by trying, learning, and not giving up you can do anything. What else comes to mind when you think about resilience? (quickly discuss) In today’s challenge, you might make mistakes and face problems that need a different solution. Everyone responds to errors and challenges in their own way. Persevering and overcoming those challenges builds resilience. You will need to share ideas, devise a plan, and delegate jobs for completing the task, all while not giving up. Your challenge today is to work together as a team to construct a track where the marble travels for the longest period of time, from its start to its finish.

The North Crawford Playhouse production of Much Ado About Nothing premieres Thursday evening, and what a show it is! A pair of lovesick couples, a stressed-out governor, a scheming brother, and a very confused constable all contribute to a funny and heart-warming tale. Support our senior students as they fundraise for the NYC trip by attending their "Taste of Italy" dinner prior to the Thursday evening performance. Tickets are available at ncplayhouse.ludus.com or in the HS office.

Yesterday, students & staff enjoyed chili and cornbread samples with ingredients from local farmers and producers to celebrate the @WIChiliLunch! WI Chili Lunch celebrates our WI Farm to School activities and supports local farmers. Shout out to Spring Creeks Beef, LLC, Boscobel, WI, for the ground beef, Harriet Behar, and Aaron Brin at Sweet Springs Farm in Gays Mills for the Butternut Squash used in the chili. Our cornbread was baked fresh using corn meal and whole grain flour from Doudlah Farms in Evansville, WI. Special thanks to UW-Extension Foodwise for helping to serve the samples and bringing educational materials! @https://www.facebook.com/crvfoodwise #WIF2S #F2schili #wichililunch
