Over the weekend, the FFA seniors had a fast-paced and exciting trip to Chicago! Their itinerary included visiting the Federal Reserve Money Museum, the Shedd Aquarium, the Willis Tower Skydeck, and the Museum of Science and Industry. The students explored the city by public transportation and indulged in some of Chicago's famous pizza. Notably, they shared their experience with eight other local FFA chapters. Many unforgettable memories were made!

Last week our 4th and 5th graders conquered the slopes on an epic skiing field trip to Mt. La Crosse! Our young adventurers embraced challenges, including a bit of rain, while mastering the art of skiing. Kudos to the incredible instructors and staff at Mt. La Crosse for making sure our students not only had a blast but also gained valuable skills on the snowy slopes. Many thanks to Mrs. Bransky and Mr. Wettstein, for organizing this field trip. Here's to perseverance, fun, and new experiences!

North Crawford School District participated in our first RISE Family event yesterday. Students in grades K-12 were randomly placed into small groups with staff members. They got to know one another and created a team name. We look forward to RISE School Family events in the future. Students will continue getting to know one another, benefit from the leadership our older students bring to our younger students, and enjoy opportunities to celebrate the power that a K12 building can provide for our school community! #TrojanPride #RISETogether https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7T3GYbogHU

Chef Justin returned today for round #2 of our student/staff taste test. Today, he prepared Jambalaya, which is entirely made from scratch and delicious! We look forward to seeing Chef Justin next month and seeing what he's creating for our students to try! Today's taste test was made possible by the USDA Healthy Meals Incentive grant with Action for Healthy Kids and the Chef Ann Foundation.
