North Crawford Middle School and High School Choruses traveled to Westby on Wednesday and participated in the Large Group Music Festival. Both groups performed well and made North Crawford very proud. Congratulations to all students. #TrojanPride

New Menu Item for Monday Lunch-We'll be serving a Cowboy Chicken Sandwich, grilled chicken breast with a choice of cheese, bbq sauce, and crispy onion rings. Students may build their own! Served with cheesy fiesta potatoes, peaches, our garden bar, and milk. We hope our students will give it a try!


North Crawford NHS's Party for the Planet event from 11-3 will be taking place INDOORS. The amazing race event has some outdoor clues but the bulk of the event will be inside. Join us for free make and take flower pots, a bounce house, earth themed games, live music from Kickapoo Joy Juice, paid concessions for lunch, and more!


The third graders enjoyed a fun trip to The Cave of the Mounds today! We explored sinkholes, both active and inactive. We toured the cave and learned about stalagmites, stalactites, cave bacon, and more! We even received a few "cave kisses." What a fun day!


Reminder to 6th Grade parents, friends, and family. The Badger Camp Parents' Night begins at 7:30 p.m. tonight in the main building. Come out to enjoy songs and skits from our 6th graders and staff. #TrojanPride

On 3/23/23, NC participated in the annual Twin Conference Math Contest. Both JV and V came in 4th place this year. Carter Wilson and Agnes Carstens made 1st team JV, Kate Swenson and Gavin Finnell made 2nd team JV. Sarah Bransky and Nathan Zirk made 1st team varsity, with Sarah Bransky having the highest overall score, while Jack McLean and Elizabeth Stovey made 2nd team varsity. Members of the JV team were Nora Mahan, Gavin Finnell, Kindohl Tamling, Riley Bromeland, Agnes Carstens, Caleb Salmon, Kate Swenson, and Carter Wilson. The varsity consisted of Sophie Ambrose, Nathan Zirk, Elizabeth Stovey, Sarah Bransky, Aiden Unseth, Jack McClean, Izzy Barr, and Autum Butler. Thanks to all who participated and helped to give North Crawford a strong showing.

21 North Crawford high school students attended the Build My Future event at the Onalaska Omni Center hosted by the La Crosse Area Builders Association. Build My Future is a hands-on career day/industry showcase that connects employers and technical colleges with workforce candidates who are interested in exploring the trades. The students had access to 65 different exhibitor booths located inside and out. What a great day!

Today we had our 2nd annual Iron Chef Grilled Cheese Competition. Six teams competed, and each entry was unique and absolutely delicious! Our panel of six judges had their work cut out for them! The winning sandwich was a dessert sandwich with blueberry cheese, lemon pie filling, thinly sliced honey crisp apples, grilled to perfection, and dusted with powdered sugar. We hope to feature it on our lunch menu in May. Thank you to all our contestants and our judges (Brandon Munson, Tina Volden, Lori Foley, Max Moderski, Annie Caldwell, Chris Wettstein), and Jen Kapinus, Food Service Director, for sponsoring the event.
