Ms.Knutson's Intro to Ag class has started their unit on Meat Science. This week they've been talking about "the ultimate cheeseburger." The class wrapped up the week by grilling burgers!

Attention parents of 13-year-olds: Representatives from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) will be at North Crawford to proctor an assessment in reading or mathematics on Tuesday, November 1st. Selected students will have a letter about the test along with their report card. This test does not affect your child's grades and they can opt out of the assessment. Thank you Roth family for welcoming our 4k students to your farm! Our 4k students travel to often to expand their vocabularies, practice social interactions, and to lean into their natural curiosities about the world around them. Today they learned about farm processes, baby animals, gardening, and so much more.




A huge thank you to Kickapoo Orchards for taking time with Mrs. Stovey's Family and Consumer Education class. The students enjoyed picking apples, the sunflower maze and learning about apple production. We appreciate the generous donation of apples and sunflowers to use in class!

North Crawford High School was informed that we have been awarded a bronze level status by Southwest Technical College for our dual credit participation for the 2021-22 school year. Dual credits are courses students can take through a technical college or university, and receive both high school and college credits. Thank you to school counselor Stephanie Colsch for coordinating these opportunities for our students and families. #TrojanPride

23 North Crawford Ag students and FFA members attended FFA day at the World Dairy Expo held in Madison WI! They were able to see all the new technology in the dairy industry, see barns of show cows, and network with industry professionals!

North Crawford Elementary recognized our first of the year Growing Awards during our September Assembly. Each month we recognize students who display our core pillars of growing hearts, growing minds, and growing community. #trojanpride

A portion of the FFA officer team attended the Fall Leadership Workshop Monday night hosted by the Lancaster FFA. Members met with the state officer team and other FFA members from our section! The officer team is ready for a great year ahead!

Did you North Crawford Schools has an Esports Team this year? Esports is a form of competition using video games. Esports often takes the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions. In our case, these competitions are with other school teams from around Wisconsin. In their first match of the season, the NC team defeated a team from Benton-Scales Mound-Shullsburg. The team is open to all interested middle and highs chool students. The district will be hosting our second of three Community Referendum Meetings on Wednesday, October 5th, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Gays Mills Community Commerce Center.
