Dear Parents, please read the information below regarding an upcoming Youth Risk Behavior survey for our 6th-12th grade students.
Our school is taking part in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey sponsored by the Department of Public Instruction. The survey will ask about health behaviors that keep young people healthy, as well as behaviors that result in unintentional and intentional injuries, tobacco use, and alcohol and other drug use. It will also ask about bullying, sexual risk behaviors (mostly for high school students), online risk behaviors, stress and anxiety, self-harm, dietary behavior and physical activity. It also focuses on positive things like strong connections to the school and to other people.
There will be hard copies of the survey in the High School Office if you wish to look at it and if you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please contact Stephanie Colsch, 6-12 School Counselor at 608-735-7217 or scolsch@ncrawford.k12.wi.us
If you do not want your child to take part in the survey please have your student “opt out” by obtaining the form in the office. The form must be signed and returned to your high school office no later than October 29, 2021.
The district uses the data from the survey to develop and implement resources, procedures, and outreach to create a safe and welcoming environment for each and every student. Please refer to the attached documents for additional information.

We will be short bus drivers again Tuesday morning. Riders on Bus #10 will once again be picked up 30 to 45 minutes late Tuesday morning. Parents that are able are encouraged to transport your child to school. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation.
Due to a bus driver shortage on Monday, students riding Bus #10 will be picked up at least an hour late. We encourage families on this bus who are able to transport your children Monday morning. With two additional positive COVID cases this week in the school building, our mask mandate has once again been extended. The new mandate will run through Wednesday, October 27th. Any potential changes to the mask mandate would not become effective until October 28th. We will continue to evaluate the data as we get closer to that date to determine any changes to our mandate.
