This rainy, chilly day was perfect for homemade chicken and noodles, roasted butternut squash, freshly baked dinner rolls, and homemade apple crisp, along with our beautiful garden bar. Special thanks to the North Crawford staff and families that continue to support our food service team. While we struggle with food shortages, we haven't sacrificed any quality or commitment to feed our students delicious and nutritious meals.

Second graders in Mrs. Kruizenga's class explored the different properties of materials used for clothing, such as texture, flexibility, and absorbency. In the activity, Mad Hatter, students use this information to design and build a hat that protects them from the Sun. #handsonlearning #trojanpride

NHS Second Annual Ugly Sweater Fun Run!

Students in the Ag and Tech departments have spent some time getting creative for the first quarter. Students in Ms. Knutson's wildlife class built their very own fishing rods while students in Mr.Keenlance's welding classes designed fishing lures from recycled material . Students were able to test out their equipment Friday while fishing at Black Hawk Park in De Soto.

Congratulations to North Crawford Sophomores Sarah Bransky, Blake Zirk, and Nathan Zirk. On Saturday these students participated in the UW-Eau Claire High School Honors Band. They had the opportunity to rehearse and learn from guest conductors, music faculty, and current music students from UW-Eau Claire. The day culminated with a concert at the Pablo Center at the Confluence in downtown Eau Claire. Congrats to these talented Trojan musicians. #TrojanPride

Hello North Crawford families. We understand there are some frustrations from families regarding food service here at North Crawford. Please understand that similar to many of our area grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, and other food service establishments, the food shortages and supply chain challenges are directly impacting our food service program here at North Crawford. You may have noticed these shortages yourself when you go grocery shopping. Whether it's a shortage in bread products, meat products, or milk, there are going to be times when we're forced to make adjustments to our breakfast and lunch menus. This may result in substitutions of food products, or even elimination of certain products. We continue to seek out local and regional partnerships to assist us with our food supply issues, but those are relatively limited in scope. Our food service staff continues to strive to put good, healthy food in front of our kids each day. We appreciate your understanding and support.
~Brandon Munson, Superintendent

We are proud to partner with Waterford Upstart to give the gift of learning and confidence to young children. Waterford Upstart is a free early-learning program that helps children build reading skills before kindergarten, so they can be confident in the classroom on day one! A free laptop can be provided through Upstart to families without access to one for their child.

So excited for this project to finally come to fruition. A conversation that started a decade ago was completed this fall. North Crawford has a brand new track and field synthetic rubber surface. We’re a little biased, but we think it looks amazing. Can’t wait to see our athletes competing on it this spring. GO TROJANS!! #TrojanPride
