Over 70 students from 8 schools rehearsed all day long with a guest conductor from Madison. There was 8 NC students participating. The day ended with a concert at 5:00 pm. It was a very amazing experience and music was alive with these Middle School students.

North Crawford School District participated in our first RISE Family event yesterday. Students in grades K-12 were randomly placed into small groups with staff members. They got to know one another and created a team name. We look forward to RISE School Family events in the future. Students will continue getting to know one another, benefit from the leadership our older students bring to our younger students, and enjoy opportunities to celebrate the power that a K12 building can provide for our school community! #TrojanPride #RISETogether

Chef Justin returned today for round #2 of our student/staff taste test. Today, he prepared Jambalaya, which is entirely made from scratch and delicious! We look forward to seeing Chef Justin next month and seeing what he's creating for our students to try!
Today's taste test was made possible by the USDA Healthy Meals Incentive grant with Action for Healthy Kids and the Chef Ann Foundation.
North Crawford Playhouse took over thirty staff and students to see the national Broadway tour of Beetlejuice the musical at the Overture Center in Madison, WI. Thank you to those who helped fundraise for this trip, and thank you to Noodles & Company for providing a delicious catered dinner to our students! The show was an unforgettable experience!

Elizabeth Stovey has been nominated for Q94 Athlete of the Week after scoring a game high 40 points and grabbing 16 rebounds to help secure a victory over Seneca last week. In doing so, Elizabeth scored her 1000 career point, becoming the fifth girl in school history to do so.

The Wisconsin Children's Mental Health Annual Briefing serves as a vital platform for addressing and discussing critical issues related to the mental well-being of children, providing insights, strategies, and fostering collaboration among professionals and stakeholders in the field. Due to the impending winter storm, North Crawford Schools will be closed Friday, January 12th. There will be no after school activities. The district's Child Care Center will also be closed.
