ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!
We know the football team is 6-0. That is truly amazing and a great accomplishment in and of itself.
Recently, I learned about the actions of our football team going above and beyond. The players learned of a senior student in another district that was going through multiple medical procedures to deal with a brain tumor. This was a life-threatening condition for this student. The football team, WITHOUT any prodding from any adults, created a heartwarming video and sent flowers to this young lady. These actions helped to brighten this young lady's dark moments and show support that she is not alone. To me, their principal, this is more important than any wins or losses. These are the actions of good people and future leaders. I have never been more proud of you! Go Trojan Nation!

October is National Principals Month, and we are fortunate to celebrate two of the very best right here at North Crawford. THANK YOU Mrs. Killeen and Dr. Sailer for your amazing leadership to the students and staff at North Crawford. We're lucky to have you both. #TrojanPride #ThankAPrincipal

Are you, or do you know an individual, who is age 55 and over, and looking for part-time employment. If so, this person could qualify for the Senior Community Service Employment Program. Through this program, you can work for the North Crawford School District on a part-time basis, as little as 3 hours per week, or as much as 28 hours per week. If you, or someone you know, qualifies, and is interested in a position in the district through this program, please contact Superintendent Brandon Munson at bmunson@ncrawford.k12.wi.us or (608) 735-7203.

This week's Throwback Thursday is going way back. Earlier this week we received several old pictures in the mail from an individual. While there was a hand-written note, we know very little about the pictures, such as year(s), location, grade levels, and names of the students and teacher. We believe the location is the old school in Soldiers Grove. If you recognize any of the individuals in these pictures, recollect the grade levels and dates of the pictures, please let us know in the comments. #TBT #TrojanPride

Due to a conflict, the Middle School Volleyball matches at Wauzeka tomorrow have been moved up to a 5:00pm start time. Also, the A team will play first, with the B team to follow, approximately at 6:00pm.

Ms. Keegan and Ms. Duncan's third graders enjoyed a tea party yesterday to end our first CKLA unit. We read many classic tales including parts of The Wind in the Willows and Alice in Wonderland!

Check out who cracked the Top 10 in the state rankings for 8-player football. Congrats to our Trojan football team. Their hard work this season has earned them a state ranking. Plenty of work to be done yet this season. The Trojans host Belmont this Friday at home in a critical conference matchup. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm. GO TROJANS!! #TrojanPride
