Today marks one year since our school's therapy dog, Newton, came to our school for the first time! We celebrated all of the joy he has brought into our building over the course of the past year with some "Super Newton" coloring pages! Some words that students used to describe Newton include cute, cuddly, helpful, calming, playful, loving, and sweet. He can also be known to give the best hugs! We are so lucky to have him here at our school!
The North Crawford school board will hold their regular monthly meeting tomorrow night, Wednesday, November 15th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Large Group Room. First Grade had a special visitor, PA Mitch Winters from Kickapoo Valley Medical Clinic. He helped to review all we had learned during our Human Body Unit including five different body systems and five keys to health. He also answered some questions we had and students were very excited for the treat bags he brought!
New menu item for Monday! Our dedicated kitchen staff will be making Sweet and Sour Cherry Blossom Chicken, served with fluffy rice, broccoli, and a fortune cookie! As always, our lunch comes with milk, fruit, and our loaded salad bar.

This magical morning not only includes breakfast with Santa but beautiful handmade crafts for kids to assemble and personalize, a bake sale brimming with homemade baked goods, musical chairs for prizes and fun, and a wonderful atmosphere filled with Christmas music and delight!
One last stop at Lucas Oil stadium this morning for a general session before making the the drive home! We had a great National Convention trip! Thank you to all those who supported our spaghetti dinner to help get this crew to Indy for a great week!
Our last full day in Indianapolis took us to Ozark Fisheries to check out their koi and goldfish farm, we had another day at the expo and an evening out for our chapter dinner! We'll head out tomorrow afternoon after a quick stop at the morning session and keynote!
The FFA crew made it to Indianapolis!They started out the morning checking out FFA history at the FFA center, an opening session at the Colts Lucas Oil Stadium, and are ending their night at a private FFA concert featuring Lainey Wilson!
North Crawford FFA members started off on their annual adventure to the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis! Tuesday was spent catching our coach bus loaded with other FFA members, a mushroom farm tour, and a chapter dinner!
