We want to give a heartfelt thank you to a generous anonymous donor who has provided funds so that one North Crawford staff member can enjoy a free lunch each week! Gestures like this go a long way in celebrating and appreciating the amazing people who pour so much into our students every day.
We are also grateful for all those who find special ways, big and small, to show kindness and lift up our staff. Every act of appreciation makes a difference, and it never goes unnoticed.

Thank you!
A big thank you to the Crawford County Alice in Dairyland Steering Committee for their generous donation to our school food service program!
We’re excited to share that this gift will go right back into our community through the purchase of locally sourced beef for our school lunch program. This not only supports our local farmers, but also ensures our students enjoy fresh, high-quality meals every day.
We are so grateful for your support! 💙

Tech Tips for Families: Grandparents’ Safety Guide

Grandparents play an important role in many of our students’ lives—and online safety extends to everyone who helps care for children. This week’s snapshot features the Internet Matters: Grandparents' Guide to Online Safety, with practical advice to support grandchildren in the digital world:

Match setup at both homes – Ask what parental controls are in place at your grandchild’s home, and use similar settings on devices you share.

Balance screen time – Set consistent usage routines and limits to support healthy habits.

Connect through digital – Ask grandchildren to show you their favorite apps or games. It’s a great way to bond and stay informed.

Know the risks – Be aware of issues like cyberbullying, inappropriate content, in-app spending, peer pressure, and sexting—and learn how to respond if something comes up.

Tech Tips for Families: Adults’ Safety Guide

This week’s snapshot features helpful guidance for adults—because online safety isn't just for kids! Internet Matters’ Adults’ Safety Guide offers clear and practical advice to keep personal information and your digital life secure:

Use safety settings and controls to manage who can contact you online, keep your passwords safe, and hide inappropriate or upsetting content

Know what counts as private information—like your phone number, address, family names, license plate number, credit card details, birthdate, and passwords—and avoid sharing it

Learn to spot fake information, whether it's online or in messages—and always verify before reacting. When in doubt, ask another adult or check online

Shop safely—look for a secure padlock icon on websites, and only share financial details with trusted sites

Tech Tips for Families: Teens (14+ Years)

As children enter their teenage years, their digital lives expand—bringing new opportunities for learning, connection, and creativity, but also new risks and challenges. This week’s snapshot draws from the Internet Matters: Online Safety Guide for Teens 14+ to help you support them safely:

Stay involved and keep talking – Regular check-ins are key, even about tough topics like cyberbullying, sexting, or misinformation. Open communication builds trust.

Talk about their online reputation – Help teens understand that what they post online can stay around forever. Encourage them to create a respectful and positive digital footprint.

Protect their privacy – Teach them to use strong privacy settings on social media and manage personal information wisely.

Support responsible behavior – Encourage teens to think before posting and to treat others online with respect. Also, remind them about the importance of staying safe on public Wi-Fi.

Each teen’s needs and maturity are different—these strategies provide a strong foundation as they gain more online independence.
